Party Light Hire – Terms and Conditions

 

ALL HIRES ARE SUBJECT TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE.

You MUST meet the following criteria to hire our equipment:

You must be 18 years of age or older.

A deposit or credit card number MUST be provided in order to secure a booking.

Two forms of ID are required to collect the equipment. At least one ID must be a valid photo ID. i.e.: A Drivers Licence and a Utility Bill with current address and dated within the last 3 months.

NO ID = NO HIRE, NO EXCEPTIONS.

YOU MUST SATISFY THESE IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS FOR G.E.C HIRE. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

1. PROOF OF AGE & ID

  • a) You must possess a current valid Victorian Drivers Licence or Learners Permit and be over the age of 18 AND one of the following:
  • b) Bank Statement, Credit Card Statements or Utility Notice (Gas / Electricity / Phone Bill).

Details must be identical to those shown on the Victorian Driver’s Licence.

2. PAYMENT OF HIRE IN FULL PRIOR TO COLLECTION

Hires must be paid for in full prior to pick up. We will accept a credit card number to secure to the booking. Hires may be paid for in cash, by Credit Card or via direct bank transfer. Equipment hire not paid for prior to collection may not be secured. We do not accept Cheques. “No Show” bookings or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will forfeit their deposit paid.

3. CREDIT CARD BOND SECURITY

We require a valid Credit Card as security. A pre-authorization transaction will be taken on your credit card for security purposes. Credit Card details must correspond to those shown on Proof of ID and Secondary ID. We regret we cannot accept anything other than a credit card as bond security. The bond required is Twice the hire amount (but no less than $50 – whichever is greater.) This MUST be paid for on the day of pick up, along with presentation of ID for collection of goods.

4. EQUIPMENT COLLECTION AND RETURN

All hires are for a 24 hour period. Equipment is available for collection no earlier than 12pm and must be returned by midday on the arranged return date (unless arranged prior.) Failure to return equipment by the due time may result in loss of bond security. Please contact us if you are not able to return the equipment by the scheduled time. Equipment is to be returned in a neat and tidy state, with all cables neatly rolled – failure to do so may result in loss of bond security.
